When you use our
online booking system for flying clubs, the system allows authorised administrator
members to input and manage the expiry dates of pilots' class ratings, flight
instructor ratings and medical certifications. This information includes but is
not limited to the expiry dates of pilot class ratings, flight instructor
ratings and medical certifications.
Administrator members
of each flying club are responsible for inputting and managing the expiry dates
on behalf of their respective club members. This process ensures that the administrator
members have physically inspected the relevant documents before updating the
information in the system.
The system may impose
certain restrictions on a member's ability to book aircraft after the expiry
date of their pilot class rating, flight instructor ratings or medical
certification. This feature is designed to enhance safety and compliance with
aviation regulations.
Members have the ability to view the expiry dates of their pilot
class rating, flight instructor ratings and medical certification within the
system. However, members are not allowed to update this information themselves
to maintain the integrity of the verification process conducted by administrator
members.
If a member belongs to
more than one flying club utilising bookingforclubs.com, their pilot class
rating, flight instructor ratings and medical expiry dates are maintained
separately for each club. This separation ensures that each club administrator
can rely on the checks and verifications specific to their organisation.
By using our online
booking system, both administrator members and regular members consent to the
collection, processing, and storage of pilot class rating, flight instructor
ratings and medical expiry date information as outlined in this policy.
We employ security
measures to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of the pilot class
rating, flight instructor ratings and medical expiry date information. However,
as mentioned in our general security disclaimer, no method of transmission over
the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
The system retains the
pilot class rating, flight instructor ratings and medical expiry date
information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes outlined in this
policy or as required by applicable laws.
For any queries or
concerns regarding the management of pilot class ratings, flight instructor
ratings and medical expiry dates, please contact us at info@bookingforclubs.com
